We build trips for riders who want real roads, real altitude, and real stories — not a bus tour with a bike bolted on. High passes, river valleys, desert highways, and village backroads are where we feel at home.

From our base in Manali we run guided expeditions and fixed departures across Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Spiti, Rajasthan, and into Nepal — routes we have refined over decades on the ground with local guides and support crews.

Whether you join a scheduled departure or ask us to tailor dates and pace, the goal is the same: an authentic motorcycle journey through landscapes that stay with you long after the engines cool.

Quality for us means Royal Enfields that are maintained for mountain work, itineraries that respect altitude and riding hours, and accommodation chosen for location and rest — not just star ratings on a booking site.

Our team handles permits, luggage transfers, backup vehicles, fuel stops, and the small details: briefing notes, spare parts, route alternatives when weather shifts, and riders who know the passes by name.

We have operated from the Himalayas since 1985. That longevity shows in how we plan — fewer surprises, clearer communication, and tours that feel organised without losing the spirit of adventure.

Mountain riding carries real risk. We treat safety as part of the product, not a footnote: route selection, daily bike checks, riding briefings, and support vehicles on guided tours.

Groups ride with experienced lead and sweep riders familiar with local conditions. We plan for weather windows, acclimatisation on high-altitude routes, and realistic daily distances so fatigue does not become the hidden hazard.

Every motorcycle is inspected before it leaves our yard. Tyres, brakes, lights, and chain wear are checked daily on tour. If a bike is not fit for the road ahead, we fix it or swap it — there is no shortcut on a pass.

Hardev Motors grew out of Manali and the communities along these routes. We hire local mechanics, guides, and homestay partners where we can, and we encourage riders to respect villages, monasteries, and fragile mountain environments.

We keep group sizes sensible, avoid unnecessary single-use waste on the road, and share guidance on cultural etiquette before riders enter sensitive regions. Tourism should benefit the places we ride through, not overwhelm them.

Responsible travel also means honest advice: when a season is wrong for a pass, when a rider needs more experience, or when a custom route should wait — we would rather tell you straight than sell a trip that does not suit you or the terrain.
